There were 4,849,297 motor cycles, 1,184,405 motor tricycles (three-wheelers), and 903,245 motor cars registered in Sri Lanka at the end of the third quarter of 2023.
In 2023, 12,518 motorbikes, 1,418 land vehicles and 1,376 motor cars were newly registered in Sri Lanka.
