In terms of Sri Lanka's ethnicities, Sinhalese constitute the majority at 74.9%, followed by Sri Lankan Tamils (11.2%), Sri Lankan Moors (9.3%), Indian Tamils (4.1%), and other ethnic groups (1.5%). In terms of Sri Lanka's religions, Buddhists make up the majority at 70.1%, followed by Hindus (12.6%), Muslims (9.7%), and Roman Catholics and Christians (7.6%).
